Michi Made Boutique is LIVE!

I’ve been in business in one form or another since 2017 and officially became a Boutique in 2018. Since then, I’ve been telling myself that I need to build on the incredible community that I’ve built locally, and online, with a website and blog. But, life happens, and that project sat on the backburner. BUT… it is time to celebrate because, after many years of saying “I need to do it” – I AM doing it!

I started in 2017 selling cosmetics and skin care, and then in 2018 I ramped things up and started selling my handmade accessories and doll clothes. While there were many handmade goods in stock, I was shocked that my best seller was one I never in a million years would have guessed… it was a made up on the fly crochet infinity scarf that was quickly nicknamed by my customers the “18-foot scarf” (We measured one of them - it was over 16 feet long). You can see an example in the picture.

As the “18 foot scarf” story can tell you, the backbone of my business is the community I’ve built with my customers. I have always strived to have my customers to become friends with not just me and my family, but with each other. And, I’m proud to say I’ve done that. I hope that this new Boutique website will become an extension of the community that already exists, and that it helps our little quirky family to grow even more!

In addition to carrying my handmade items, I plan to source and select amazing, fun, silly, and quirky goods! I hope to become that fun, quirky boutique that can help you build your personal style. We are all unique, and I hope to help you show off your uniqueness!

So, without further ado, and after lots of “blood sweat and tears” as well as lots of planning (and scrapping those plans and starting over), I am thrilled to be able to say that Michi Made Boutique is official! Yes, it’s been a long time coming, and the site is very much still under construction, but it’s here! Over the course of the next month or so, you’ll see more and more stock added to the shop, including some amazing new items I’m bringing to you!
